Intro To Knotting
Course Syllabus
Objective
Introduce the basic tools and terminology of traditional wig making and form an understanding of how to ventilate single knots, which is the fundamental step needed for traditional wig making.
Materials Needed
No. 100/1 - Half Meter Terylene in color DARK BROWN
No. 200 - black plastic hook holder
No. 205 - curved German needle in size MEDIUM
No.402 or 404 Head Block - measure the circumference of your head and order size that is the same or 1cm smaller.
No. 503 - small drawing card
No. 516/2 - 50g short blocking pins [it is important to have flat head pins, not ball pins which can get in the way]
No. 527 - Wig cradle, work box [this is highly recommended, but a shoe box or travel neck pillow will also work if your budget is tight]

Follow up
There is one free 30 minute follow up included with class. This should be scheduled through email once your homework exercises are finished. Please included zoomed in pictures of your work along with any questions you would like to have addressed during class. We will go over how to double knot. Additional coaching sessions are available as needed for $50/half hour.
